Our primary goal is to offer
a Christian centered developmental care program to pre-school
age students that will accommodate the needs of working
parents. By providing learning experiences, creative play
activities, and opportunities for social interaction with
other children, we strive to foster the spiritual,
intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of each
child.
The Afternoon Enrichment
program includes integrated
opportunities for growth in all areas of a child’s
development.
Activities including arts and crafts, gym and exercise time,
nap time, learning centers, circle time, music, story time, as
well as opportunities for social interaction provide an
enriching atmosphere for the children.
REGISTRATION POLICY
A Saint Boniface School registration must be completed.
Enrollment acceptance in
the Pre School Afternoon Enrichment
Program follows the policy for School enrollment acceptance:
1.
St.
Boniface families whose children are currently enrolled in the
school, and who are current with tuition.
2. St. Boniface Parishioners
3. Non-Parishioners
Classes are filled on a first come, first
served basis
HOURS:
Afternoon Enrichment is available Monday through Friday from
12:00 p.m. until
5:30 p.m. on a
full-time, part-time, or as needed basis.
Lunch may be brought from home or purchased at school.
The Afternoon enrichment Program is not available on teacher
in-service days, school vacation days, or when a snow day is
called.
MEDICATIONS AND ALLERGIES:
Please advise us if your child has any allergies, especially
if they are food allergies. In the case of
food allergies, we will monitor the snacks your child eats.
You are encouraged to send a snack if your child’s
allergy is serious.
Administration of medication will
be done only if a medication permission form is filled out and
on file in the school office. All
medications prescribed by a physician must be in their
original containers. A physician’s order must be provided in
order for prescription medications to be administered. Should
your child become ill during the time of the program, you or
the persons listed in the emergency data form will be called
immediately. In the event of an extreme
emergency, we will make every attempt to notify you.
If you cannot be reached, we will call your physician.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP POLICIES:
St. Boniface Pre School children using the Afternoon
Enrichment program are escorted to the enrichment room by the
classroom teacher. Parents bringing
children to St. Boniface for the afternoon program are asked
to accompany their child directly to the enrichment room.
At the end of the day, the parent or
parent designate should come to the Afternoon Enrichment room
to pick up his/her child.
LUNCH/SNACKS:
A mid afternoon snack will be provided for your child. Hot
lunches are available daily for children in the Afternoon
Enrichment Program. Lunch can be purchased on a daily or
weekly basis. Children may bring a packed lunch. Milk is
available for purchase.
