Children enrolled
in our kindergarten program have the opportunity to
experience a cooperative, positive classroom environment where
developmentally appropriate practices are in place to meet the
individual learning needs of each student.
The classroom environment in our kindergarten setting is child
centered. Learning centers engage children in the process of
learning through the use of manipulatives and creative
projects. Classroom activities are designed to nurture
children’s inquisitive nature and promote cooperative
learning. The children participate in a wide range of theme
related activities and experiences.
Children receive daily instruction in Religion, Math, Phonics,
Reading/ Reading Readiness skills and Language development.
Structured activities encourage the development of social and
communication skills.
In addition to the computer center available in the classroom,
students receive formal computer instruction in the Technology
Lab. Physical Education classes are attended on a weekly
basis. Creative expression is developed through art, music and
drama.
Students attend weekly Liturgy and take part in school wide
prayer services. Our annual primary Christmas program is a
special event for students and their families.
St. Boniface School parents are invited to work closely with
the teachers to promote a positive learning experience for
their children.
Children must be five years of age by September 1st to enter
the program.
