PTS

St. Boniface Parent Teacher Society is an organization which brings parents/grandparents/guardians and teachers into closer contact with one another through monthly meetings and events. All teachers, parents and legal guardians of the school children are automatically members of the St. Boniface Parent Teacher Society.  Meetings are held monthly on the first Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the library unless notified otherwise. Child care is provided at every meeting upon request.

The PTS sponsors many fund-raisers, of which the profits go to extend educational  opportunities to the students and provide improvements to the school. A portion of the profits go toward the operating budget of the school which in turns keeps tuition down.  Last year the PTS donated funds to enable internet security for our computer technology department and also donated funds for an alumni database search to strengthen the outcome of our annual fund drive.

One of the goals of the 2011/2012 PTS board is not only to support the school and students’ educational goals financially via fundraisers, but also to get families more involved in the school and more acquainted with each other.   The organization hosts two events where only attendance is requested and no volunteers are needed.  This is our monthly Wendy’s Night and our JR’s Last Laugh Comedy Night.

Annually we have several events where we ask for help from our school community.  This includes but is not limited to the Grandparent’s lunch, Veteran’s Luncheon, children’s Christmas store, Superbowl party, Mother’s Day store and Catholic Schools Week.

We make an effort to keep everyone informed about events, through fliers, notes, parent broadcasts and e-mailings.  If you are a school family and not on our e-mail list and would like to be, please send us an e-mail at stbonifaceschoolpts@gmail.com and we would be happy to add you.
